  1. Pretty much all of it applies for the rest of Nordic countries. (Well, maybe apart the music festival thing..) At least in Finland, we have similar "jokamiehenoikeus" (every-man's rights), state-monopoly for liquor, shoe & coffee-policies etc.

    I would add that you might want to try adjusting your diet within the Arctic hemisphere. There's not much local fruit production apart from greenhouses. But you can get a good variety of root-vegetables, fungi and berries even from the smaller stores.
